Tell us about yourself.

I am highly disciplined and passionate about my day-to-day life, but simultaneously, I can be free, extroverted, and restless. I don't feel like I can be defined in one way; I live my life doing what I must do with passion, joy, and willingness that every minute I live is unique.

Tell us about your most memorable travel experience.

My most memorable travel experience was a tour I took visiting small towns in one of Colombia's most beautiful departments, Boyacá. I love visiting small towns - I feel transported to the essence of what we are as Colombians: artisans, farmers, miners, the people who work every day in the fields. I love knowing the history of my country and appreciate the beauty of nature that surrounds us as Colombians.

Dead or alive, who would you like to join you on an adventure?

Definitely my boyfriend. He knows me very well, and I always enjoy spending time with him. He is also outgoing and laid-back, making him the perfect companion for an adventure.

Jennifer’s top travel essential is a good attitude and energy.

What are your travel equipment essentials?

I can't forget sunscreen, good socks, water, and a warm jacket if I find myself at a very low temperature. But what I definitely can't leave behind is a super attitude and maximum energy to enjoy whatever happens as much as possible.

When did you feel happiest?

I am a person who can become very emotional; therefore, describing a single moment in which I have been very happy is difficult. But moments with my family and my pets always come to mind.

Who taught you your biggest life lesson, and what was it?

I have learned my biggest lessons from life itself and every moment I've lived through. In addition, however, I have had a "life tutor" - my uncle, Ricard Rangel. Whenever I need good or even harsh advice, even if I don't particularly like it, he's there for me.

You can teleport to any restaurant on Earth: where do you go, and what do you order?

There is a restaurant near where I currently live in Mosquera, Cundinamarca, where they prepare the best Neapolitan pasta. I really enjoy eating at that restaurant, so I go there often.

Tell us about the most adventurous food you’ve ever eaten.

There is a typical Colombian dish made with rice and bull's blood; I don't particularly like meat, and eating it was an odd sensation knowing how it was prepared.

Drink of choice?

It has to be a good cup of coffee.

Where do you feel most at home?

I feel most at home anywhere where I can be myself, where I can laugh, where I can talk, where I can meet people, where I am accepted and valued. That is where I can feel at home.
