WhereNext’s Storytelling Agency Partners With PR and Media Services Agency Formidable Media

Press Release

Storytelling Agency and Media Agency Join Forces

Boulder, Colo. | October 30, 2019 — WhereNext, Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with Formidable Media, allowing the global creative agency and production company to offer public relations and other media consulting services to its growing client roster, as well as making a full suite of agency services, including video production, available to Formidable clients.

As WhereNext sought to expand their offerings to both existing and new clientele, they searched the U.S. for another agile agency that both matched their brand ethos and offered a similar level of deep media and creative experience. WhereNext clients include Cat Footwear, Canva, IBM, Patagonia, Abercrombie & Kent, Columbia Sportswear, and tourism boards spanning the globe.

WhereNext will take on the PR services of Formidable, led by public relations director Scott Kaier. “When we founded Formidable Media, it was because we saw a lot missing in what was currently being offered. And WhereNext was also built out of necessity,” says Kaier. “Both of our teams are extremely nimble, without sacrificing quality. With two world-class writers now on our leadership team, plus global video production capability in seven languages, everything we do starts with storytelling.”

Client: Cat Footwear

First up: Cat Footwear, known globally for making high-quality work and lifestyle footwear and committed to developing innovative comfort, durability, and technology features, as well as championing progress for a better future. Cat Footwear is a division of Wolverine Worldwide as a global licensee of Caterpillar, Inc.

WhereNext has been concepting and producing creative storytelling campaigns and videos for Cat Footwear’s global marketing team and is now pleased to be able to offer PR and media services to this unique brand as well.

Nimble, Media-Savvy, and Cost-Effective

Two of the most nimble, media-savvy, and creative media teams have joined forces with the aim of elevating brands in a new way. Together, these two agencies offer a unique suite of services to brand clients, with unprecedented agility, reach, and cost effectiveness.

WhereNext’s “light and fast (and solid)” approach began when Bleakney embarked on an epic two-year cycling journey from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego—and had to choose just one camera and a single lens for his photography work.

Already operating on both hyperlocal accounts as well as developing content, strategy, social, and earned media for some of the biggest brands in the world, Formidable + WhereNext is tracking for growth while maintaining a focus on personal service with fast turnaround times.
