Bogota, Colombia | July 27, 2023 - WhereNext, Latin America’s leading creative storytelling and sustainable tourism consulting agency, is proud to announce its appointment as the chosen firm to elevate the communication strategy of the FSC Indigenous Foundation and the Foundation’s Indigenous Peoples Alliance for Rights and Development (IPARD) Program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) with other private sector partners.
Managed by a Global Indigenous Council, the FSC Indigenous Foundation is dedicated to promoting Indigenous-led actions and solutions and supporting Indigenous Peoples to achieve their goals of self-governance, self-development, and self-reliance. With a mission to elevate Indigenous Peoples in their contribution to the protection of Mother Earth and recognize them as providers of solutions and partners to fight against global challenges, the Foundation remains committed to fostering a harmonious and impactful relationship with nature and society.
Elevating Indigenous Voices With Custom Tailored Communications Strategy
This collaboration encompasses various activities, including multilingual website and social media management, campaign strategy, video production, graphic design, and newsletters. Working closely with the FSC Indigenous Foundation Communication Officer, Mary Donovan, WhereNext will strengthen the organization's visibility and impact, increasing its influence among international stakeholders. The agency will also raise awareness about the value of Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous solutions while utilizing communication as a tool for Indigenous Peoples to achieve their rights and self-development.
